Taking a Break

Taking a Break

Photographer’s Note is currently taking a break.

I know, I know. Who needs a break after spending sixteen months travelling across the Americas, right?

But just as life on the road is a constant whirlwind of adventure, arriving home has been too. No sooner had I arrived with the very appealing plan of decompressing beside the seaside, with my family and friends, than I was off to London and cracking on with work! I thought the days of last minute bookings and living out of a bag were behind me, but at least I was able to replace my backpack with something a little more suitable before I left.

I have a rather imposing archive of photographs to tackle. And a great deal of stories to get down on paper. But I’ll be back soon with tales from the Amazon, photographs of great falls breaking through verdant jungles, a trip to ancient Incan ruins perched up in the mountains above a wild river, rainbow-coloured landscapes from another planet, a slow and easy stay in the wine regions of Northern Argentina, a final stop in Rio, and a whole host more. There’ll be tips too, and reflections. And if there’s anything in particular you’d like to hear about, or something you’d like to ask, please do in the comments below.

In the meantime there’s plenty to peruse from the archive and more pictures to see in my series section.

I’ll be right back.
